This fanlisting is for the character Kitty Pryde, aka Shadowcat, from the X-Men comics, movies and animated tv show. Kitty has always been one of my favourite X-Men, she's smart, funny, and passionate and she has a very cool power, though it's a defensive one. When she was 13 she began getting headaches. Little known to her at that point, it was the beginning of her mutaiton. It first became apparent when she phased through her bed and found herself on the living room floor. I adore Kitty, and honestly don't get what's not to love about her. She first appeared in issue #129 of the series now known asX-Men.

The title of this fanlisting is 'Phasing' because, well, her power is to phase through things - she can pass through solid objects, including her clothing and through other people. So, Phasing. There were a few other titles I considered, such as 'Passion and Intelligence', but I didn't like them.
